Richard Brickman

Doctor of Physical Therapy

I’m Richard Brickman, a physical therapist for busy professionals, parents, and active adults. After years in traditional PT, I saw too many patients stuck in pain because of rushed visits and generic plans. I launched Define Physical Therapy to change that—offering personalized care that delivers real results without the insurance hassle.

My mission is simple: help you move better, feel better, and live better. I combine hands-on expertise with innovative tools to pinpoint your problem’s cause fast. Whether it’s sciatica, Parkinson’s Disease, vertigo, jaw pain, or a nagging shoulder injury, I’m here to get you back to what you love—on your terms.

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. I’m trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) for treating back and neck pain, as well as vestibular disorders. I’m certified in the LSVT-Big method for Parkinson’s Disease.

When I’m not helping patients, you’ll find me exploring the area’s trails with my family, hoisting kettlebells, or out for a run.
